Zakat al-Fitr is a way for Muslims to express gratitude for being created as human beings and for successfully completing the Ramadan fast. Fulfilling the obligation of giving Zakat al-Fitr during Ramadan is an important aspect of our faith and practice. By giving Zakat al-Fitr, believers experience the blessings of Ramadan and give thanks for the bounties in their lives. In this way, through Zakat al-Fitr donations, they become a means of bringing some measure of relief and improvement to the lives of those in need, both during Ramadan and beyond.
As it does every year, our association continues to deliver the entrusted Zakat al-Fitr donations to families in need this year as well, ensuring that the warmth of the month of Ramadan is felt in every heart.
Your Zakat al-Fitr and fidyah contributions are delivered in cash to those in need during the month of Ramadan and are not included in our other aid projects such as food, flour, and other assistance programs.
